DNA paternity test
In order to determine the biological paternity, DNA of the child and the potential father are tested in guaranteed anonymity. The test compares the "genetic fingerprint" of both test takers. Half of the paternal and half of the maternal DNA characteristics can be found in the child.
The sample is usually taken as a smear of oral mucosa with a provided sterile cotton bud. However, tooth brushes, used handkerchiefs, glasses or bottles which have been drunk out of, sugarfree chewing gum, baby pacifiers, hair including the roots (at least 10), as well as cigarette butts (min. 5) and blood (e.g.: dried blood on a bandaid), can also provide sufficient material for testing.
The results will be delivered to you within several working days!
